Mumbai (Bombay) is a largest populated (more than 25 millions) metropolis city in the world. It is the commercial capital of India and the capital of Maharashtra state. Originally a conglomeration of seven islands on the Konkan coastline was over time joined to form the island city of Bombay which further joined with Salsette to form Greater Bombay.
