AIESEC MUMBAI just finished its February recruitment campaign and inducted 54 brilliant new recruits into the wonderful and exciting world of AIESEC! After briefing the new members on what AIESEC is and what is has to offer to college students, its now their parents' turn to take a sneak-peek into the world of possibilities that is AIESEC.
On March 7, the parents' of these new members will gather at St Xavier's College, Dhobi Talao, at 7:00pm, for an evening of briefing, questioning and understanding what AIESEC is. The executive body of AIESEC Mumbai is in charge of the event and will try their best to successfully induct the parents' into AIESEC. The evening will begin with the president, Rahel Chakola's address followed by the president's mother's speech.

Rahel Chakola's mother has specially flown down from Coimbatore to address the parents' of the new recruits and share her joyful experience as an AIESECer's proud parent. Soon after, the parents will be shown presentations about what AIESEC does, how it creates an impact on society and how being a part of this organisation can benefit their children.
After the presentations, the parents are free to begin a question and answer round, where the Executive Body will be more than willing to answer all their queries, concerns and questions about AIESEC. The executive body believes that a student can't be successful in AIESEC without his or her parents' support. To take the most out of AIESEC, their parents' need to understand the organisation and need to be by their side.
The parents have been sent invitations for this event and about 40 to 50 parents are expected to attend. Hopefully, after getting an overview understanding of what AIESEC is and what it can do for their children, they will go home feeling proud to be an AIESECer's parents. This initiative is a part of AIESEC India's national ‘I am an AIESECer's parent' Campaign.
