The Mumbai city,India

formerly Bombay, is the financial capital of the India. It is the second highest populated city in the world. The population is about 1.5 crore. The city is the dumb evidence for all things happened from the Britisher’s Ruling to the 26/11 Mumbai Terror attacks. If go deep into the city culture and the citizens very interesting points will come out and mostly one can get know about the Mumbaikar (people who stays in Mumbai are called as Mumbaikars).

The main Financial and marketing head office of almost all large scale organizations are there in Mumbai. Indian stock exchange and Bombay stock exchange are at situated at the center of the main business district of Mumbai, the South Mumbai.

The people from auto wala to IIM student, every one is much aware of the stock market, shares and sensex etc.. Here I would like to add one of my experiences at my first visit to Mumbai. I have done my Master of Technology Degree from one of the famous technological institute in India, The NIT Allahabad. Even though I donno much about stock market and shares. But every auto wala in Mumbai is very much aware of stock market. Usually we used to ask others “What is the time now?” but in Mumbai you will face a question “how about the market today?”

Mumbai The financial capital of India. The city which never sleeps. "If you are able to survive and adjust to the city circumstances then you can survive any where in the world. India is poor in terms of $ but it is rich in terms of humanity, respect and kindness. Exactly you can feel the same thing if you visit Mumbai.

Shopping in Mumbai : Not only world class shopping malls in Mumbai but also many shopping spots also there. Crawford Market, famous for pet market, flowers, fruits, meat and fish is a fascinating place to visit. The main areas for getting good clothes are around Colaba Causeway and Fashion Street, which stretches along the Cross and Azad Maidans. Breach Candy and Kemps Corner, down the hill from the Hanging Gardens are also popular for their trendy clothes. Chor Bazaar is antique lover's paradise if you like to gamble. Look for anything from brass door knobs to silver "hookaas". Zaveri Bazaar is famous for its diamond, gold and silver jewellery. Scores of jewellers line the narrow streets in Mumbai's bullion market.

Mumbai Hotels : Hotels in Mumbai are world class and there is no doubt about it. If you are a billionaire then you can stay in Hotel Taj Mahal or if you are a middle class man you can stay in a Paying Guest. The kind of amenities is very satisfactory. This is because of every Mumbai hotel believes in customer satisfaction.
